Our video series called Nugs of Knowledge was created for Michigan grower and premium retail dispensary Skymit. The educational video series was created to help inform new and entry level users on how to select the appropriate cannabis strain, different ways to consume cannabis and how to manage dosing. Our cannabis tour guide and host was an internal Skymint marketing manager who had passion for the content and was natural in front of the camera. He helped cultivate an authentic voice on behalf of Skymint and kept the project budget friendly by avoiding the need to hire an actor. We incorporated a variety of different video content styles including talking head interviews, product close-ups, on-location and outdoor staging, blah blah blah
In another Skymint project, we created a short branded documentary film called “Michigan’s Largest Weed Farm” to help showcase the people and product of Skymint Farm’s outdoor growing operation in Northern Michigan. We documented the growing season from June to October and captured the unique benefits and challenges of growing cannabis in an outdoor environment. The passion and enthusiasm we captured on film from the farm manager, Brandon, helped demonstrate Skymint’s commitment to premium quality cannabis. The film was featured at the Fresh Coast Film Festival and “that weed film” was all the buzz in the popcorn line, allowing the brand to reach an even larger audience.
