About Little Cabin Films
Our ever-expanding client list includes global corporations, nonprofits, academic institutions, new and small businesses, and just about everything in between. Our clients rely on us to tackle topics in the field and we are always up for the challenge.
As Michigan transplants, Little Cabin Films has established themselves in many realms of video production for the past decade servicing Chicago, IL. At our core, we are storytellers. Successful client work aside, we have established a unique voice in documentary by taking an often humorous and lighthearted approach to non-fiction filmmaking. Our passions lie in filming subcultures and the “everyman”. The documentary landscape is saturated with stories about people climbing the highest mountains or achieving the unimaginable, but we find immense value in filming topics and characters that appeal to everyday people. We find time and again that right under the surface of any place or person, there usually lies a story of something out of the ordinary.
We have seen great success with our previous documentary projects which have ranged in style and length. Our feature film “Vannin’” has become a modern cult classic; gaining more that half a million unique streams on Amazon Prime. Our shorts “Hill Climb” and “North Branch”, both centered around unique Michigan events and activities, have seen successful film festival runs. Our newest film, “Sleeze Lake”, has played around the world; gaining awards and notoriety releasing in 2022 on the indie film showcase Fandor. It is our experience and passion that makes us uniquely qualified to create impactful short branded documentary content.
“Nick and Andrew are a truly fantastic pair of filmmakers. They are friendly, chill under pressure, and focused on their clients' needs and vision. I've worked with them several times in the past, and plan to continue working with them. I heartily recommend trusting your production to the Little Cabin!”
